Innovative Rainwater Harvesting Systems at JNTUH campus
  • Funded by Central Ground Water Board, MoWR, GoI
  • Completed in 2012
  • 23 recharge shafts build in the campus
  • 03 piezometers constructured
  • 06 Roof top RWH build in the campus
  • 05 Surface runoff harvesting RWH systems build
  • Ten crore liters surplus runoff harvesting capacity during normal rainfall year by spending Rs.40 lakh
  • 10 meter water level (static) increased
  • Zero discharge campus w.r.t rainwater
  • Zero maintanace structures
  • Ground water quality improved
  • Service to society
