The Centre for Pharmaceutcial sciences (CPS) was established at Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University in 2007. The Department offers M. Pharmacy Courses with Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy as three Specialization. The committed faculty members provide a systematic and quality training to the students to become Pharmaceutical professionals to cater the needs of Pharmaceutical industries, academic institutions and the Society in general.

As the centre is acquiring sophisticated equipment like HPLC, GC, HPTLC, FTIR ,automatic Dissolution apparatus, and multi stationary tablet punching machine etc, it can train pharmaceutical industry employees in instrumentation, Formulation and analysis.
