Work carrying out at CAEO:
 
1 The flame reactor has been indigenously designed to produce nano carbon materials and nano metal catalysts like TiO2, ZnO, SiO2, NiO   etc.
 
2 Chemical Vapour deposition (CVD) unit is designed indigenously to synthesis Carbon Nano Materials like CNT’s, N- CNT’s, S- CNT’s etc.
 
·3 The Flame Synthesized and CVD Synthesized Carbon Nano Materials like CNT’s, N- CNT’s, S- CNT’s, Graphene etc are used as a catalyst support for Electrocatalysts material in PEM water Electrolyser and PEM Fuel cell.
 
4 In Fuel cell setup prepared MEA are tested at different hydrogen and oxygen at different flow rates  for production of electrical energy

2. Thermo catalytic decomposition(TCD) of hydrocarbons for production of hydrogen-Sponsored by UGC (University Grant Commission), New Delhi
 
3 Design and development of novel hydrogen storage materials-lithium intercalated fullerenes and carbon nano tubes using flame synthesis. Sponsored by Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), New Delhi.
 
·4. Design and development of Biohydrogen production from renewable organic wastes-Sponsored by MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy), New Delhi.
 
·5 Biodiesel production by using native micro algae using industrial wastewaters and industrial stack emissions Sponsored by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), New Delhi.
 
6 Hydrogen production through Biological routes Sponsored by MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy), New Delhi.
